In addition to its annual granting of four-year scholarships to graduating seniors, earlier this Spring the CMC also awarded two WHS juniors grants to fund one-on-one standardized test preparation courses. These one-time grants are valued at $1,700 each and cover the full cost of a test prep course conducted by CollegeWise.
The CMC is pleased to share that the first of the 2024 awardees to take the ACT post the course boosted his ACT Super Score by 5 points against the ACT scoring range of 0 to 36 points. This significant ACT score improvement raised the student’s National ACT Percentile by 13%, to the 94 th percentile. This substantial ACT Super Score gain is dramatically widening the college options for this student and highlights the impact of this CMC program.
