Leo Goldman, WHS Class of 2026

The College Men’s Club of Westfield is pleased to announce that the 2026 recipient of the award honoring the male senior earning the highest-grade point averages at Westfield High School (WHS) is Leo Goldman. The $500 award for academic excellence were bestowed at the WHS graduation ceremony on Thursday, June 25th, continuing the club’s legacy of recognizing outstanding student achievement.

Dave Germond, CMC President, stated that “we are proud to continue our more than four-decade tradition of honoring academic excellence at.” An identical award was presented to the female graduate with the highest GPA by the Westfield College Woman’s Club.

Leo Goldman will attend the University of Michigan’s Honors College, where he plans to study Economics. While at WHS, Leo was Captain of the Boys’ Tennis Team, a member of the Math Modeling Team and a cellist in the school Orchestra. His academic honors include being a National Merit Commended Scholar, an AP Scholar with Distinction, receiving the Seal of Biliteracy, as well as being a member of the National Honor Society.
